How does the latents work? Have a song or roll effect on.
FFXIclopedia has a pretty good list of hidden and latent effects and their triggers ( http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Latent_Effect) but oddly Orphic Egg isn't on it. ... /edit - | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-07-2007, 07:58 AM | #3 (permalink) | The BBQ Kitten Revolution FFXIWiki Team Join Date: May 2006 Location: Windurst Posts: 4,588 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 158 Thanked 1,267x in 705 Posts Gil: 36,930 Bank: 11 Total Gil: 36,940 Donate | Re: So this Orphic Egg... How does the latents work? So, what you're saying is... its crap after level 10.
But one thing I've always wondered is if there's a hidden effect to Fortune and Lucky eggs, in addition to "lucky" items. I keep a lot of this stuff on my mithra and seem to have good fortune with BCNM and NM.
Could it be these items... or could it be the luck of the Corsair? :0 Last edited by Omgwtfbbqkitten : 04-07-2007 at 08:05 AM. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-07-2007, 08:01 AM | #4 (permalink) | | Junior Member Administrator Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 4,930 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 235 Thanked 682x in 347 Posts Gil: 21,766 Bank: 79,478 Total Gil: 101,244 Donate | Re: So this Orphic Egg... How does the latents work? Well, no .. I wasn't saying that. But it is pretty much true. - | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 04-07-2007, 09:59 AM | #5 (permalink) | | Sticky Paws Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 2,892 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 237 Thanked 610x in 395 Posts Gil: 10,928 Bank: 126,476 Total Gil: 137,403 Donate | Re: So this Orphic Egg... Seems like for some jobs, there's really nothing better to put in the ammo slot for many levels, while this looks pretty good when there's a Bard in the party. Is there anything substantially better I can use on my Mithra PLD before Bibiki Seashell? What about MNk and DRG? “ I’m in pain, but I’m happy.”

Civet Satchet would give more +1 DEX and +1 AGI
There's not a lot of great ammo items til 60+ that I can think of. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -8.
