Relic Armor for BLU/PUP/COR?
Anyone know when the Dynamis areas are going to have relic armor drops added for these jobs? Might they be added as drops in Salvage? Or could SE be planning Dynamis zones in the new areas someday?

On a side note, I noticed the existing relic weapons have already been updated to work with these jobs.

Well I highly doubt they'll be added to dyna zones, since it's a whole different storyline. RoZ and CoP were about crags and dyna and stuff, so all old+RoZ+CoP jobs will have relic there. I THOUGHT they would add ToAU relic in Salvage but no word yet. However a new battle thing or salvage is my bet for where you'll find them.. if they ever get released. There's a chance they won't, since the AF is obtained differently and they're new jobs for a different continant.. it'd be unfair, but possible.

I don't know why people assume there must be relic AF for these jobs. I'm not saying there isn't going to be, but in contrast to the AFv1s that preceded COR, BLU and PUP, the ToA AFs beat the others senseless with an aluminum bat. I haven't seen AFs so specialized since RDM and BST.

I kinda have a hard time believing you can make those better without making them overpowered. And AFv2 for the rest of the jobs are just as hit-or-miss as the AFv1s before it. In some cases the AF+1s are even better.

The relic weapons? I can see the logic behind the extention to other jobs there, if somone is going to persue that gilsink, it better extend to another job they could play.

I'm baffled they adjust weapons to be picked up in Dynamis, but don't give the new jobs a damn thing from Sky save for abjuration gear. Kills me COR can't get Kote, that's just wrong.

I dont see why Relic gear for these jobs couldnt drop in dynamis. Blu can wear !both! Homan and Nari~ w/e its called and it is obtained from Limbus which if Im not mistaken is also to do with CoP. It doesnt really tie into the story like dynamis but its still CoP.

CoP had strong ties to the East in story, though. And the NPC that makes the gear... is from the Far East.

If anything, that gear was a prelude to ToA gear in design and BLU was most likely already up for that gear back when Limbus gear was added. No new jobs were planned from RoZ to CoP, but they were most definately in the works from CoP to ToA. BLU, PUP and COR wouldn't be hard to work into that part of endgame given the timeframe ToA was being developed and Limbus was introduced.

Meanwhile, with sky, those jobs hadn't even been conceptualized yet. Still odd that they did consider relic weapons and abjurations for the new jobs, meanwhile not one of them gets access to god gear... and BRD still does (wtf).

I just don't see the sense in dropping new AF in the old Dynamis zones purely for the sake of having new relic to obtain. If they're going to add it, add it to a new Dynamis or other endgame zone.

As it stands, Dynamis is a pathetic mess. It needs to be revised, instanced and brought up to par with Assault and Salvage. Sure, those aren't perfect either, but we shouldn't have to do the song and dance of scheduling around other linkshells just to do Dynamis.

The new jobs need relic armor so they can have a reason to do endgame events for mediocre rewards just like everyone else. I thought that was obvious.
