I know those info..trying to see if anyone know the drop rate of item. The lvl 30 something moblin because those are the only one i can take on now. Or farming it is a waste of time?

They aren't notorious monsters, so I don't see why the drops would be any different than any other normal drops in the game. What price is this item going for on your server? On Odin for example, it is only 11k. I think you could farm up 11k pretty much anywhere w/o having to go to Oldton Movalpolos and waste time trying to get 3 threads. Honestly the threads only cost 1k each on my server. What server are you on? |

The level 33-36 moblins that drop the thread are the Chapman, Pickman, and Witchman. I doubt that anyone is going to be able to give you a percentage on drop rate. If you sub THF or can bring a THF, you'll have a better chance at getting 3 quicker. Depending on your level and the level of others you bring, it could take as little as 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. I would suggest bringing a couple friends to help kill the mobs quicker.

The only problem with the mobs there is it's hard to get the mobs by themselves. Most of them are in parties (though there are some that are wondering off by themselves). They arn't particularly tough, but if 4 or 5 decide to link on you and the blm starts enfeebling you and silence (depending on what job you go as) you could be in a world of hurt. So even if they check easy prey to you, relieve you will be fight 4 or 5 easy prey mobs that will cure and buff each other that might be a bit tricky to take. If you are going as a blm, then having sleepga would help, if you are in real trouble you could Elemental Seal + Sleepga, and then escape or warp out. |

You know, I still haven't seen any Moblins in person... I've yet to visit Movalpolos. :-P

My recommendation would be to get a group together and just raid Oldton. Moblins are spread out throughout the zone and you can aggro in some areas in there up into the 60s so you need to be careful. Look for the mobs mentioned by FC and kill everything in that area. You may get a couple of chest keys too, which will get you the map.
