I want to get a friend of mine a Corselet as a gift. I can readily obtain most of the items except for two items, Star Sapphires and Scintillant Ingots.

Info that I used looking at how to obtain them:

So I have a few questions. Is there any other way to obtain a Star Sapphire? My assault static kind of fell apart, and I don't have the 1mil that this is currently going for.

Does anyone know when you can obtain a Scintillant Ingot from desynthing a Lamian Armlet?

I could buy the ores for it, but where can I mine for the Luminium and Orihalcom ores? I have a few friends who might help me to mine them up, so do you think it would be better to buy or mine the ores and have someone make the Scintillant Ingot?

I would really like to get my friend a Corselet+1 if I could, it is a level 100 cap leather working synth, so my chances of getting a +1 are probably rather low, should I even ask the crafter to aim for a +1 or should I just ask him to do it the safest way he can? Does anyone know the crafting caps for this? I only know it is 100 leather, and an unknown goldsmithing and smithing level.

I think I can obtain the other items easily, finding a crafter and the Star Sapphire and Ingot will probably be the hardest part.

Yeah, I've only seen a few sell on the AH. Sadly I had the money to buy one at the time but I didn't know about this synth at the time :/

Good to know, if I can get the items I'll just ask him to craft it the safest way he can to minimize the odds of failing the synth.
