How do I get the most out of these maps? I know u need BST for the widescan - what about markers? The only markers I ever seen is the 1NPC had to trade the adventurers coupon to when i first started and party members. I was under the impression you can put your own markers on? |

You can put your own markers on maps by going into the Map, then pressing left or right arrow keys. In the upper, right-hand corner your markers will change to yellow or green. Hit "Enter" and it'll bring up a dot on the map that you can move around on your own. When you hit Enter again, you're given the option to name your marker. Hitting Enter a third time sets the name. Voila.

Rangers also have wide scan ability. but you can simply add markers so you can refer back to stuff

I'm sure you know this, but no one else mentioned it: When you're in a party you can check the map to see you're party member's locations. Sometimes when you open your map the only markers available are your custom set, and the NPC, but wait a few seconds and you will be able to select the party set. |
