 |   Airship Pass
I know this has probably been asked to death already, but when I've been searching I have been hearing different things, so I wanna get it straight: At what level can I obtain an Airship Pass by doing the Missions? (hey, I don't have 500k Gil to spare  ) I'm currently Rank 2, with my points the whole way up cos I traded in alot of crystals. I'm on a missions where I gotta go to La Thiene Plataeu (San d'Oria FTW) and find some guy.I'm a lvl 21 RDM, but I'm switching to WHM. Currently my WHM is lvl 16. You won't get an Airship to travel b/w the starting three countries and Jeuno until you achieve Rank 5. Usually done in the 40's or 50's. There is an airship pass for Kazham that is obtained by turning in Chest keys for Palborough Mines, Ghelsba Outpost, and Giddeus. The Kazham airship pass is an entirely seperate entity from the regular airship pass.

If you mean a world pass...like for your friends you can just buy those from certain NPCs. Otherwise see above since he did a pretty good job explaining how to get the airship passes...

Word Pass- these are server passes. Buying one for about 10K+(varies according to population) generates a code that can be used by your friends to create a character on your server(for a limited window)....in other words they'll be able to play with you instaed of being randomly put on one of 15+ servers. I only know about the NPC near the MH in Port Sandy...but there are others who sell them... Airsip pass- this lets you buy airship tickets and rinde on them. It makes travel between the 4 main cities in the core area of FFXI easier. A special airship pass lets you go to Kazam(a Zilart area)...how to get both of them(airship passes I mean) is really in the posts above me. |
