Im sure alot of you know, but for those who dont... You only have to have the Empress Band equiped to ativate it, after its active you can unequip it and still gain the effects. I found this to be fascinating... lil things amuse me. lol

Why if it is common knowledge do you need to specify and tell the person this? Let them be, let them feel... relieved that they shared their knowledge with the world... Can't we all just get along?

EDIT: this works with other equiptable items that grant you usage as well. However I have only tested this with Reraise Hairpin.

Yeah, of course it never hurts to share the word to the people who didn't know. I just bought an Empress Band yesterday with my Conquest points before I did the nation misson to switch from San D'Oria to Bastok. I haven't equiped the Empress Band yet... I'm saving it untill Valkurm... But I never knew you could un-equip afterwards and still gain it's effects. Thanks for sharing the information!

I have heard that you can not switch out the charged items that drop from the ENM Pulling the Strings and still keep the effect.

Without having one I can't try it myself to find out.

Eh, I'm thankful for people that take the time to list out information that most take for common knowledge. It wasn't until recently I found out that plague can drain TP as well as MP...

it's been like this since day 1 it got released. You'd be amazed about the amount of people I've still seen wearing it while it's "on" during parties/soloing.

The band hasn't been around since the JP release, but ever since it was put in you were able to do this. I believe it even stated it in the announcement when it was added. The *only* ways to remove the effect are to wait 3 hours or make the bonus EXP.

Though not *All* charged items are like this. The haste belt loses it's haste enchantment if you remove it after using the charge. Same with the lvl 14 rings iirc. It depends on what the item is and what the effects are, nothing in universal.
