Need a Joyuese FAQ

Hello, I'm a Shelless PLD on Midgarsormr. I've Been playing Off and on for 2 years and I've decided to try and go for Joyuese, but i don't know much about how to get it, Except that i have to kill place holders, and it's a Kraken that hits up to 8 times an attack turn. If anyone can post a link, or jot down a guide on how to get too him, and what I might need to solo the place holders, it would be very appreciated.
I'm Currently a lvl 75 pld / 37 war 37 nin.

Please post your setup when you get people together to do it and your experience. I would also like to get a Joyeuse one day too. Too bad you're not on my server.

I have heard there is also an Elemental that spawns around that NM's spawn point so you might want to be careful.

try to get a nin tank. A Brd will greatly help with mambo.

Get ToD. That's the key.

compare to the day back when HNM LS still camp this thing, it's not too bad now imo xD

Err, yeah. I consider having claim stolen from Japaneese players and stuff (Which seems to happen on a daily basis on Diabolos ; ; ) as a non drop =P. Took my friend like 4 full campings before he finally got his joyeuse..Japaneese kept stealing claim, lagging him out..same old drama stuff.

Our server is a little more civilised - you kill PH, your turn first. If you wipe however...

i find this hard to believe!!

ninja tank (or thf tank) is a must... get the bat earrings and a load of blind potions and is np to tank it..... yup an elemental spawns in the other room and can aggro magic... try going there after next maintainence - charby has popped for me a few times within 30 mins of servers being back up.

bard and ninja can duo this, so if you got both in PT + other members will be cake!

Well. When I killed my NM, I Knew it's ToD so I showed up just as it popped.
When I arrived there, a JP Brd was there alone killing PH. He said he had been killing PH for hours and hours so the NM should be his to kill. Again, he was alone.

Yea I wasn't serious at that time so I let him joined by alliance and I won the drop.
But if you really think about it, anyone with a 75 job can all solo those place holders. I didn' needt him to kill it for me, if he isn't there I can do it myself. It's not something to even bring up when he didn't even know ToD nor had the man power to kill the NM.

you kill PH you get NM kinda rule {No, Thanks}

There's several jobs that can tank this NM. (Basically, any job that has high evasion and utsusemi:ni.) A MNK friend of mine duoed it (MNK/NIN BRD/WHM) for her sword...granted, she's also the person I trust with all my monk questions, and she hasn't lead me wrong yet. D:

The last time I was down there, there were three seperate groups going after the sword. That was only a month or two ago.
