When I finally get around to doing this, it's nice to know that I won't have to deal with any asshattery. I mean, if I do the work for the TOD, and ask for help, no one I know is going to log against me. But they would probably ask me to camp it again for them, which I'd be happy to do.

I used to want it for my RDM and BRD, but realized since I didn't really like those jobs, I'd let people ahead of me. Year later I had COR at 75 and a job that I felt could use it better. Out of all runs, only the next to last one was the one I got burned on, the rest I was happy to help with. But I've heard the horror stories about the RDM that camped ToD and the BRD that lotted after the kill and such.

Probably only one more person I'd ever camp this NM for, though. Can't think of many other people on Titan I'd care to camp it for.

I just hope it doesn't take as long to get a K Club, cuz I want one of those now >.>

Since I never plan on getting a Mandau or Excalibur, Joyeuse is really the best sword for me as a RDM, so it's worth the effort. But I suppose if my job focus randomly changed to something else it would be less of a priority.

But as a RDM? Totally want.

Hmmm I wonder if i can nail soloing it at 75 on rdm(when i get 75 @.@) with my npc after getting some merrits in for the spells and enfeeble magic. Bring in some ethers, tp wing, potions, and it could be possible?

If you need a primer for how senseless you'll get beaten, ride the boat to Nashmau and try to fight Proteus. He's softer in the HP than Charybdis, but just as nasty otherwise.

I fed him some BLU I didn't like last weekend.

ya i so tried the whole lets solo proteus as drg penta did great damage he just attacked way to fast he is defenitly faster then crhaybd speed

I wouldn't suggest it Akashimo. Just find a couple of friends and you'll be set (BRD and NIN ideally).

ya me and my freind who is a brd just rock charybd alot for people its fun to see someone finally get thier joy toy so you get great comments like:
