Im wondering if there is any way to recharge the teleport rings(and the warp cudgel)...or do they only have 10 uses then you have to throw them out?

Think it was 100 CP per single charge missing.

So if you have 6/7 then it's 100 CP, 5/7 it's 200 CP, 4/7 is 300 CP, etc...

Max if it's totally burned would be 700 CP then. Slightly cheaper then getting a new one.

i was going to charge it with my last 200 CP but my pt told me i had to charge it fully or i cant get it charged at all so i can charge it 1 at a time or not??

maybe they meant keep it until 1 charge, because u can use it right away when you recharge it?

1 charge left -> get exp party -> use ring -> trade to signet dude -> party till ring wears off -> use ring.

with the band I like to lvl 7 times a week, I wait untill sunday and trade up right before the switch over

The question of charging 1 charge at a time, that is no. The cost to charge the ring varies depending on how many charges it needs to reach max again. So if you only used 1 charge that entire week you can spend 100 CP next week and recharge that 1 missing.

To the point of what everyone else is stating the best time to charge it is between the Saturday and Sunday. More specifically on Sunday since the band has a 20hr reuse timer if you use the last charge or a charge on Sunday then trade in to recharge it the timer also gets wiped back to 0 so you can use it twice in that same day without waiting 20hrs.

I tried this last Sunday: I used my ring last Saturday and when my EXP bubble was all used up, I tried this, and it recharged the ring, but it did not reset my reuse timer.

About the Warp Cudgel, can you put it up for sale in the AH? I thought the buyer would get a freshly charged cudgel?

No you can't put used charged items on the AH. The AH will only take fully charged items. Also if you buy a partially charged items from someone's bazaar you don't get a fully charged item, it's still partially charged. So be careful what you're buying.

That was a statement done before the latest update. No telling what changes after an update, usually lot of stuff they 'tweak' that they don't specifically highlight. That could be a result of it.

That's why I constantly stress that any info you find online for FFXI you better check it's date. If the statement doesn't seem true anymore and an update has occured sine the posted date, it's likely a change not really mentioned that could of happened.

In either case if you want to spend that extra 300 CP (If you used up the ring) you could always also just toss the old one and get a brand new one. That'll definatly guarentee you a 0 timer.

When it comes to Empress Band and I want a double charge during the week, I usually just use the band, toss it, and buy a new one. :O Doing that pretty much resets the timer every time no matter what. So maybe try tossing and rebuying on Sunday instead of recharging?
