Conquest - EMP Band

I am working on Conquest, and trying to gain points to get the EMP band so that I can get more exp. Well, I went to the gate guard (can't afford it yet but was just checking it out) and I did not see it under the 1000 Points" category. I have asked multiple people in my ls and other too, about it and everyone says it is 1000 points. I'm quite confused now...

Btw im kinda new to thins but my empress band doesnt seem to work when i equip it, its like got a 15second timer and thats bout it, is that supposed to happen? also ive tried equipping it just before i kill a fiend but still no extra exp, can anyone help with this?

ok you have to wear it for 15 seconds (i am pretty sure) then go to your items menu and select it, you will then be able to use a charge on it, there are 7 charges on one ring, the effect lasts until you reach the time or xp limit. The empress band is really the best deal since you get 1k in extra xp. Has a cool down of 20 hours. However for those of you that have a whole lot of CP points to throw around, you can always (when you get back to town after an xp party) throw away the one that you have and get a new one for 1k in CP. You can recharge the ring once a week at a cost of 50 CP per charge (might be 100, but i am pretty sure is only 50)

A recharge is 100 CP so it would be a total of 700 CP to charge it back up from 0/7 each week.

You can't just throw it away the point guy says that you may only purchase or recharge 1 item of this time between Conquest Tallies. So its actually more efficent just to recharge it.

hehe yes much more efficient to recharge, i am just sayin you can toss it and get a new one if you like, i personaly dont like doing that but you can if you like is all

Has enyone ever found any instances where using a Chariot band might be better advised over using an Empress Band?

Depends on the situation. I look at it in that the Chariot's EXP cap is lower than the Emps, so in this instance, Empress is better for just about everything. Even if all you intended to do was to exp for a short time, I'm sure that getting 1k exp is always better than 500(i think, or it could be 750 ._.) no matter how fast it happened :p
