If there's a plot, I don't get it, and there's no singing.
It looks like it was difficult to make, however, so keep up the good work and we'll see what the finished product is like. ~Zozor! | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 03-13-2006, 06:59 AM | #3 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 68 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 2,234 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 2,234 Donate | Re: Trailer - The Final Fantasy Opera | Originally Posted by Wiseman40 | Interesting two minutes (is that how long it's supposed to be?). If you have played through the Opera House scene in FFVI (3 in the US), you can probally identify alot of the shots from scenes. The whole thing is going to clock in at about 25-30 minutes. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 03-20-2006, 06:45 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 68 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 2,234 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 2,234 Donate | Re: The Final Fantasy Opera After months of work, it is finally complete. *edit*
Watched about 5min of it and can't watch anymore...
Reason being is my 7yr old is about to beat FF3 on SNES and is going to LOVE this, so I wanna wait for him to see it.
With the amount of work you can obviously tell was put into this, it's not even moral to point out any flaws. And to anyone that does, I say do better...cuz you won't, you'll be a poser.
Thank you for bringing back such great memories. Just the little bit I watched had me sitting there with a stupid grin on my face the whole time.
Now, dispense with the pleasantry... Where's MORE!!!

They are normally so hard to please, what with playing a near perfect game.
Thanks! Double Post Edited: | Originally Posted by Lit | | WOW very nice! I've never played FF6 sadly ; ; BUT the video and production of this is awsome. Can I ask what video editing software you used for this? | FRAPS for video capture (of course)
GIMP for image editing
FFXI Model Viewer for blue screen work
Adobe Premier for video editing
Microsoft Media Encoder for video encoding Last edited by Regenshire : 03-22-2006 at 02:54 PM. WOW! Awesome work. Very entertaining.
FFVI is my favorite out of the series, so I was especially excited to see this video get finished. I can imagine it took a lot of work. It was directed very well -- I especially loved the dialog scenes. I laughed out loud as Ultros made his appearance.
I'd love to see you guys reproduce more FF series scenes. I already watched it on google video, but the quality was horrible. Either he changed the Server setting [if he was a douche]...
Or, the setting were changed automatically due to high DL volume [cuz the sites annoying]...
Either way that's odd because that's the file I DLed for my son the other morning. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 03-24-2006, 04:28 AM | #11 (permalink) | | The Architect Brain of Knowledge Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Lincoln, UK Posts: 1,096 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 232 Thanked 138x in 98 Posts Gil: 123 Bank: 184,500 Total Gil: 184,623 Donate | Re: Trailer - The Final Fantasy Opera ((((((SPEACHLESS)))))) (and thats something)
It amazes me how much time and effort is put into these videos created by the fans and players of the games. alot of hardwork has been put in here by the linkshell and the people who edited it all. You should all be proud of your acheivement.
P.s. I look forward to Part 2
Best way to view it is on google video at original size and smooth video setting. Brickshouse - The returning Galka. PLD/WAR/MNK/DNC/SAM

I already watched it on google video, but the quality was horrible. I loved it. | There is a mirror posted right below the filefront link. Try that instead. | Originally Posted by PotentPotables | Odd....

Either way that's odd because that's the file I DLed for my son the other morning. | I have noticed from using Filefront that their "Free" server availability can sometimes be sporadic. Sometime you get several servers (or dozens) available at a time, and sometime they have zero available. I believe they probally have a contract to use available bandwidth when it is available on those servers, and when it is not available they don't list the servers. You will notice that all of the servers they list are actually used for other things on the internet. Also, judging by the number of servers available based off of file sizes, only certain servers allow large file sizes.
Anyhow, use the posted mirror or download the average quality. The average quality is pretty good looking. Double Post Edited:
Oh, I also just noticed this message on filefront:
! User files are offline for maintanence.
And in the video thread on Alla they are mentioning that they can't upload to Filefront right now. So it could be related to that as well. Double Post Edited:
And I just realized I don't have the mirror link on this thread, orz. I am adding that now. Last edited by Regenshire : 03-24-2006 at 07:42 AM. 1. 7 Minute limit on the video
2. It wasn't close to finished by the submission date
3. I wasn't going to the Fan Festival Last edited by Regenshire : 03-24-2006 at 07:58 AM.
