I'm not sure how many were aware, but BG forums had a little forum event where people voted on the most popular character in Vana'diel. It was broken down into brackets like March Madness. Anyway, a great guy named Elmer the Pointy made some awesome videos of it. Basically, the polls' results in a nutshell. I loved those videos, especially the second one. Some of them might not make sense if you didn't read the pages on BG though.
