Awesome accomplishment. | Quoted for agreement. I hate videos where I have no idea what spells are being cast and whatnot.
I particularly like the macro titled "ohShi" - I'm not sure what that one did, but it was a clever title.  ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~Aksannyi~~Hades~~75WHM~75RDM~62WAR~72BLM~~Mama Gamer~~<3 Cerealkiller~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~  ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 10-27-2006, 02:23 PM | #9 (permalink) | | J...atatouille Super Moderator Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 8,338 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 5 Thanked 136x in 106 Posts Gil: 29,317 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 29,317 Donate | Re: Fenrir Prime Solo If you need translation for spells and abilities in Avesta vids let me know. Like I could have just logged in, taken my Moon Bauble over to the mountain, and flogged the silly Puppy. lol
Took my group 5 times to drop the thing. In the end I was fortunate enough to get the kill. Managed to get a completely unresisted Water III to land 400dmg and kill the thing. Our poor NIN hit the dirt so many times it wasn't funny any more. 5 seconds in, he'd take 1500dmg and we'd all scurry out to start all over. On the 3rd try, the SMN was trying to line up the 2nd Astral Flow, which would have finished it off, but Fenrir got hip to it. Just before Leviathan started his annimation, SMN died.
The fights were all fun, but man Seijuro ... you made it look easy. lol [font="Comic Sans MS"]Odude

"Owsie-Wowsie!" I say to that Eclipse Bite he managed to clobber you with while your shadows were down. You were so lucky that it didn't outright 1-shot you. Thank goodness for Stoneskin, right? And thank goodness for that Bind landing when it did. Both of those factors saved your life.
I'm probably going to attempt this myself once I finish meriting RDM.
Though, do you think Dia II (or III) would've been a better DOT to use on him? With him being a darkness-based creature and whatnot, I'd assume he'd resist Bio too much for it to be of much use. All Nations: Rank 10

Look at level 7 goblins landing Bio on your 75 character... Bio to put att down on a mob, possibly dropping Eclipse Bite's damage, is going to be worth a lot more, plus I believe Bio II does more DoT? I could be wrong though. I could be wrong though. | Oh, I know that Bio can never be completely resisted (unless a mob has magical immunity, which Fenrir does not). What I meant to say was that Fenrir would resist the actual damage that Bio dealt, plus his resistance to Bio's ATT penalty - to the point where the damage shaved off his attacks wouldn't be significant enough to really matter.
