i only watched a min of where they fought the major NPcs from each nation. That PUP was controlled by a noob -.- I saw nothing spectacular. That video with the BLU was awsome. Now all those damned RDMs who want to melee in exp will fucking disappear -.- OMG I can't wait to spam Death Dimension. . .

Tanking? LOL they were just godmoding GMs. Square didn't want show puppetmaster abilities just yet. Otherwise they could have easily sent in a third character to film with and shown the puppetmasters abilities with the UI vanished. They probably keep the UI off to control how much we know before release.

lol everytime I watch the videos of the BLU in action, I cringe at the demonstrators lack of knowledge about timing and spell casting. They need to hire Avesta to make a kicking demo!

yea i get that part but 1 or 2 interrupts will show that nicely enough. the guy keeps getting interrupted more than he casts. sorta pointless you know? anyhow, good stuff.

oh about maelstrom, you can tell its maelstrom bc its a water/bubbly tornado thing. but i did see a sandstorm in there. the maelstrom came from the blu only demo, not the blu + pup demo.

Well that part is just lack of skill on the part of the demoers. ^^ I'm saying they wouldn't have disabled spell interruption for that reason.

I think the thunder one might be the gigas move, Lightning Roar? Not sure about that though, I haven't fought gigas in a while.

The move with the stream of black "smoke" is the sea monk's Ink Jet?

Also note that all the goblin bombs shown are thrown, not dropped. Is this just coincidence (or SE hiding stuff from us), or are BLU bombs guaranteed not to drop?

Like all blue magics shown, Frypan has a couple seconds casting time... not sure how useful it is going to be like that. I guess it can interrupt spells that are even slower. (Or, if it's 37 or lower, a RDM/BLU could Chainstun with Frypan instead of /DRK Stun... Frypan also does damage and is AOE...)

Those ghosts eventually became the blobs usually called "Flan" now. I thought the little slimes XI already has were supposed to represent those. :x
