Which is the town that appears on the FFXI intro?

that's supposed to be Jeuno.

no.... It was a small union town in the west of San d'Oria(although Jeuno is in the west too).

Actually, no one know the location yet. Square still developing the story line and I don't think they will tell you the answer soon.

20 years ago, they(four countries) were lie that their presidents all gathered in that union town(I know the name in Japanese. It's not Jeuno). So, a big force of orc went to there. At the same time, the four counties big army went to kill the shadowlord and ended the war.

Remember when they announce all the countries who fought in the war? He misconstrued the city to be the one labeled last, the Grand Duchy of Jeuno.

Evidentally they sunk the enter piece of land and plunked down a new floating city in the same location and called it Jeuno o.O

Next time you're on the airship to Jeuno, look forward. Jeuno's a cylindrical island with three bridges going in opposite directions heading to each continent. At the top of the cylinder lies our beloved RuLude Gardens.

I'm afraid we've yet to see that arc-city

Shows how much of the plot is still to come
