I started digging around again thanks to some of the Campaign Ops missions that I've started doing, and it has turned quite profitable! In North Gustaberg [s] this weekend I got:

A mix of moblin/goblin armor, flint stones, etc.
20+ Copper Ore
8 Iron Ore
5 Zinc Ore
2 Silver Ore
1 Platinum Ore (woo 8K!)

So I decided to extend my mining to one of my other familiar spots, Mount Zhayolm. Nothing spectacular yet..:

3 Stacks of Pebbles
2 Copper Ore
2 Troll armor
2 Sulfur
...and a whole bunch of broken pickaxes!

When I mine Mt. Z, I get a lot of the following:

Bomb Ash, Sulphur, Iron Ore.

Some other stuff including troll and moblin items...

and on one occasion, I have unearthed the beautiful, scintillating mineral known as Khroma. It is very rare. Like Orichalcum in the Cauldron, Darksteel in Zeruhn, or Aluminum in Newton Movalpolos.

Good luck. I mix Mt. Z's Firesand ingredients with Old Mo's Bronze and make bullets. While there's quite a bit of iron on Mount Z, there's not nearly enough to use up all that firesand...
