Arrow Growing Elemental Ore Journal

I grow Earth and Dark ore for me and my lil LS I'm going to grow into a mighty Dynamis LS one day...lol but until then...we're lvlin and farming Tree Saplings
But here is my method of growing Earth and Dark Ores.

we'll start off with the batch i just started.

Moghancments: Gardening

Equip: Workbench, x12 procelin pots, Maple and Oak Table and a Tartaru Desk.

Planted: 10-19-2006
1st Crystal Fed: Earthx6 Darkx6 on 10-26-2006
2nd Crystal Fed: Earthx6 Darkx6 on 11-05-2006 could have fed on 11-2-06 but wasn't able to get to my account due to vacation.
Harvest[b]: Edit 11-12-2006 Picked x4 Dark ore out of 4 pots. Picked x24 Persikos out of 2 pots
picked x3 Earth ore out of 3 pots. Picked x36 Kitron out of 3 pots.

New items harvested: Persikos and Kitron (Ingredients for Cursed soup and Persikos au Lait)

Fairy sell stats: 400k Dark and Earth ore 32k Persikos (stack) 2k Kitron (stack)

Gains and Failure: Gains...obviously the ore but Failures, all i've seen from my batches are tree cuttings. I'm not sure if this is the other thing you can grow like this but all i can report so far is tree cuttings whcih you can grow into saplings and rinse and repeat with earth crystals and get saplings.

Note: I've noticed ores will grow no matter what element is flowing thru your moghouse. I've heard a lot of people say you need the highest element lvl flowing thru your house to be able to grow ore effectively. i think its just depending on your batch really. From my tests if you plan on growing 12-24 or more you should have the 2nd or 3rd element lvl flowing thru your MH and you'll have a good harvest of Ores.

Feel free to add info here as well. This is the method I've used for 3 batches now and i've had vast harvests. Feel free to use it as well and all thanks can go to yourself for growing the ore succesfully.

Also grow ores according to your servers AH. I'm constantly checking FFXIAH.com to see how the prices of dark and earth ores are doing on fairy

Re: Growing Elemental Ore Journal

one time I fed the sapling only one crystal and still got the ore... amazing isn't it? not that crystals are really that expensive, but over time it adds up. give it a shot! sometimes, one is better than two. (money wise)

Re: Growing Elemental Ore Journal

Last Year I grew 10 Lightning ores from 1 batch, and remember this is back when Lightning ores were about 800-900k, my LS was very pleased as I shared the profits, I planted on Lightningsday, fed the crystals (all Lightning) and I harvested on Lightsday, if it means anything I harvested in the opposite order I planted, if you ask me his was all luck maybe just incredible luck, but I hope this helps in some way
