Static party anyone?

I've not made it to 75. In fact my highest job right now is mnk 32.

I have several lowbie jobs.

Here's my list:
WAR 17
WHM 16
DRK 16
DRG 6
BLU 20
MNK 33
THF 7
NIN 7
SMN 27

As the subject suggests, I would like to set up a static party for two or three nights a week. (as often as possible basically) until everyone in the party has leveled their chosen job to their goal.

The only times I can NOT party are Tuesdays (all day) and Wednesday (evening) GMT.

I can party in the mornings, mid day, or evenings GMT any other day as my schedules would allow me to simply insert a few hours of FFXI into the day at any time.

If you're interested just post here with which job you'd like to level, and what times are available to you and I'll do my best to organize a static party.

I don't know if you got any responses to your static party request, but I'd be interested in starting one. I'm kinda in a semi-static with a friend already, but we all know how hard it is to get parties started now.

I just started not too long ago, so my jobs are:

BLU: 30
WHM: 30
BLM: 10
THF: 16
WAR: 10

My partner is a BLU/WHM at level 30, so between the two of us we kinda have a decent start for a party going, with either of us able to main heal or tank. I intend to take BLU to 75 ^^

Erm... if you see me around, give me a buzz in-game!

Either of you can bug me anytime you want in game. It's nice to see some Hades folks around here. I don't really have time for a static but toss me a /tell and I'll try to jump in if I've got anything to level.

Thanks for the replies. I've not had much luck setting up this static yet.

I've been trying to level SMN. It's now at 27. If I catch up with some of you I would like to give this static idea another try. Not enough people are interested in doing it at this point though.
Even if we just get a couple of members, then fill in the rest with pick-ups it will be better than standing around waiting for a party.

Whee... I saw Aksannyi online once, but I haven't been able to catch Zozor yet...

My WHM is up to 31 right now, slowly going up using Besieged as simple exp. I really should start leveling that seriously again xD
I'm not sure if a WHM & SMN can static together, but if that's something you're interested in, let me know.

BLU @ 36, though I'm probably going to try that in a duo/trio static just for a change of pace

Other jobs... THF up to 23. I'm only taking that to 37 though, so it wouldn't be a good choice for a static.

Most summoners would be ecstatic to have a whm in their party. Summoners are like a lot of red mages ... they don't like to main heal, but they do it for invites. Getting a party with a white mage is like getting chocolate syrup on your ice cream.

Oh yeah! Forgot about that part... back in a previous life, when I used to be a RDM, I always made sure to be good friends with a few WHMs that I could pull in on a party so that I wouldn't need to heal

Still, spent a good portion of this weekend seeking on WHM... it just seems that there aren't that many low-level, pre-70 parties being formed anymore. Hades seems to be a fairly empty server these days It's hard to get enough people together for a full party, especially when half the people seeking are afk >.<

Got WHM to 33 mainly through Besieged and one party. If you see a silly low-level WHM running around healing & Raising during Besieged, that would probably be me

Duoing is nearly as good as a party for exp. I started duoing my Blue Mage with another Blue Mage, and we were getting about 3-4k/hour chaining T & VTs at level 36-38. The signet exp bonus seems to go a long way for duos, and getting two people together is a lot easier compared to getting 6 people. Only downside of duoing is that you really can't make mistakes... A lot more deaths occur when experimenting & duoing, but once you find the right camp ground, exp flows quickly.


FFXI has definitely changed since the last time I played over 2 years ago... I just unlocked Beastmaster last night, so I might try soloing for a while. Anyway, if you see Ascule online, just give me a buzz! Especially if you're looking for a WHM33 or THF25 ^^

I haven't had too much trouble getting parties lately, but I've been leveling 63-65 range. Could be just your level range ... but I wouldn't worry, it fluctuates.

I'm having huge problems getting PTs. You can see job lvs in my char info <-. I want to start a static so bad, especially for my WHM and/or RDM. I'd like to get my DRK or BLM to 10 and do a static starting at 10 as well! Please send me a tell and let me know. I'm usually on or available->: see below. However, I won't be on tonight for personal reasons. I'd really like to have setup times for xp pting so please let me know...

Monday-Friday: 5:30/6:00-10:00/12:00 PM EST
Saturday: Anytime day or night!

Hey Ascule Remember me? hehe. Anyways, I would love to static my blm or nin first as my main jobs are going to become gimped with one more level or so if I can't find any pt's for them still. My nin is at 16, my blm is at 25. Other than that, I have WHM51, and BLU31. I also have war and smn to 10...but don't enjoy those jobs quite as much.

My availability changes often because I am in the army though, but typically after 0300GMT I am available. I am in Hawaii as well, so finding parties during the week becomes difficult.

After looking through all of these posts' posters' job levels, I can see that we have a common need to level jobs we have lv 26-31. Perhaps we can all get the jobs we want to 30/31 and start a static. I have WHM there and and RL cousins' PLD there as well. So, we really need 3 DDs and a mage or some other type of good filler. Please send me an IM or TELL to let me know. BTW: we've been doing Thursdays, around 7pm-10/11pm, EST.

Not sure if I have jobs near anyones level range, but I'll be around as well(not as much Saturday to Tuesday cause I'll be finishing up an engineering project). I should be on Cleverness sometime between 5pm-7pm EST tonight.

Not counting what's in my sig, I have a 5SCH I'm starting, 14BLU and 16NIN.

Cleverness=Character Name? Firstly we could duo your BLU and my BST. Also, I have BLM and DRK at 10 if you can get your SCH there or wait for me to catch up to your SUM. I do a semi-static on Thursdays 7-10pm EST. (Only WHM and PLD gauranteed) We're at about lv 30 right now. Any other day of the week at the below times I would like to schedule another static. Let me know what you think.

Mon-Fri except Thur: 6pm-10pm
Sat: Any time 10am-?
Sun: 10am-10pm.

I don't play this much, but if I have a static, I will definitely schedule it in.
