I need Help on Bastok Mission 1-3 - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

Hey, I'm a Level 8 White Mage and I need help collecting the Quadav Fetich(Spelling?) in the Palborough Mines. I'm not completely helpless seeing as I can take on two Amber Quadavs by myself, if needed with my club and banish spell.

I know Dia, Cure, Protect, and Banish. I really need help getting through this place. I died since 3 yount quadavs cornered me while I was healing. I managed to take out two though.

But please, someone help me with this.

Screw fighting the Quadavs! Just go to the Auction House, under Beast-made and buy what you need there. It's alot quicker and safer then the alternative and there not really expensive either.

and if that's your solution to all your problems, you will quit ffxi in a month because it's so boring ^^

go hunt for the pieces, you will learn many news things, don't rush it

I'm just trying to help this person complete the mission. I tried gathering a party for the same thing when I was new and nobody wanted to help. This is just a suggestion if they can't find any other way. This is how I did it and I don't find the game to be boring because of it.

I noticed you have a LS, if you can it would be a good chance to ask them for help and create some bonding within the LS or you could buy the parts off the AH. Another option is just to level up and then completely wipe out the entire Quadav population . . . . that's kinda of entertaining now that I think of it ^^

Well I bought the pieces on the Auction house. I spent 1 and a half hours simply fighting quadavs and rabits. No drops. But I did gain a level and I'm very close to level 10. So thanks for all your advice and maybe we could meet up in the game soon. ^^
