      I think the primals will still use that company based thing to summon the actual primals.

      But Summoners could harness a fragment of their essence to summon weaker, yet potent versions of the primals, mew.

      So it's a win/win situation. Primals can be the ultra mighty mew mew beefy strong beings that parties have to capture to use their great energy,
      but summons can tap into primals energy and create smaller versions of the primals that can serve as pets they can summon anytime, mew.

      Either as pets, or Summoners summon mini Primals kind of like FF series where, they appear, nuke the enemy, then disappear.

      But with chocobos now being able to be battle partners without timer, mew, that increase the chance that Arcanist Carbuncle and Summoners's summons won't feed off MP, and they might be somewhat like FFXI DRG Wyverns (have HP and have no time limit, but if they are KOed, then it takes time to resummon them), except Summoners could switch between the summon pets they have.

      Two things come to mind.

      First, was that last Meteo actually a group ability? A long time ago I was talking about having party 2-hour abilities where everyone in the party sacrificed their 2hour or equivalent abilities to either reinforce one person (kinda like when Cloud defeats Bahamut in Advent Children) or to use a massive party ability.

      Any word on it? Because it looks as if everyone in the party did something so the BLM could use Meteo.

      And 2, that last fight is not a real genkai to get above lvl 50 right? And limit break is only used to refer to XIV evolving and breaking it's own boundaries right, correct? Because if genkai in XIV requires a party I may have to reconsider playing 2.0

      Limit Break is essentially an expanded version of renkei and genkai hasn't been spoken of yet. Mostly due to the fact there hasn't been discussion of a level cap increase. That will probably come a few patches into the launch of ARR.

      well it seems the main story can be soloable on lower difficulty setting, so unlocking level cap to level further, could probably not require a party to do so, and if it does, there might be an easier setting so people can manage to do it if they at least put effort into that battle. but ya this is an mmorpg, so people shouldn't expect to be spoon fed and solo everything, otherwise the community will not interact with each other and there wouldn't be enough incentives to party. if people want to solo they might as well play white knight chronicles or something.
