Oh ya crafting in that makes is very easy, fast, and rewarding. It does many things right that all mmorpgs should learn from. Practically anything your level has 100% chance or high success, Developing crafting/synthesis skill is good rate, there is nice detailed information and even records of items and ingredients to make them, you don't even need a guide to know ingredients for each item, or where they are found, mew. And one of the best parts is that gathering those items is very easy and not time consuming. So ya its basically select ingredients, mix and poof! Success! Well as for item quality, that's another story, but even that isn't hard to get decent ranks like A and stuff. Oh ya feel free to send this suggestion to the devs.

It's a JRPG series. It's not a bad series at all to be fair but Atelier Meruru was way too fanservicey. The story and characters were pretty below average and the over sexualisation of the female cast made things a little uncomfortable. I wouldn't call it a horrible game but there are better games in the Atellier franchise.

Basically the series puts a lot of emphasis on crafting.
