Stats Question

I have a quetion about stats in the game. I'm pretty sure when you level up points are distributed randomly to your stats. My question is, if you level up a whm to level 60, then im sure you would have very high stats, but do these stats stay with your character, or your job? If they stay with your character and not your job, wouldnt a character thats starts a blm and already has a level 60 whm be much stronger then a character who is just starting a blm as their first job? Sorry if that is really hard to understand.

i think i got what you were asking The level, stats, and abilities and stuff stay with the job. When you change to a job you've never been before, your job is at lvl 1. But, you can go back to a lvl 60 whm, and have all the same stats and abilities.

Chipmunk's right, as usual.
The only thing that carries over (stat-wise) when you change jobs is the stat bonuses or detriments of your particular race (Taru, Galka, etc.), and these changes are negligible at higher levels.
