No, what you are starting is a CLAN, a group of people gathered in the gaming world, which in this case is Final Fantasy XI.

well do u know the possiablity of the members of your group being on the same server ?
considering there are 19-20 servers

no, it sends you to the least populated server. so you should start a clan in the game, so you make it with people that you know are definately on the same server as you

To anyone who will say you can delete your character until you get in the server you want...

yes keep re-creating ur char till ur on the server you want like chipmunk 777 said and make a friend make money buy a Wp and invite people to your guild..err clan... and You can only use the Wp with new characters you cannot xport your current char to another server

You can't delete/re-create your character anymore. That would involve totally installing and re-installing FFXI...which is a serious pain in the neck.

I have no idea what the clan name will be yet. I'll have to think on that one.
