So I go to ebworld.com to find some online games for my birthday. Well, I click PlayStation 2...and what do I see on the front page? A picture of Final Fantasy XI. I wonder why this is here. I click it, and the release date, of course, is 03/04/2003. When you think about it, even if this is the date, it's less than 2 months away. That really shouldn't be much to all of you guys Think about it, most of you school takes up a lot of time, find some other things to do...it'll be here before you know it.

I really hope so, but the lack of ads, the complete lack of NA screenshots, or any info at all about the status of the HDDs has got me doubtful about that date. Or maybe I've been disappointed so many times about the release date, I'm not expecting anything ....sigh....

Well, as you may or may not know...Square always keeps you guessing until the last minute. It's really no different here, and I'm not sure why everyone expected it to be.

that's just a projected release date, and it probably won't come out at the beginning of march And btw, most of EB is retarded

Game developers give stores like gamestop and EB packets with info nobody sees for months, so maybe 3/4/03 is the release date.

You see how soon Square advertised their FF 12 and FFT advance? They advertised them like almost a year before release.

I doubt if FF XI is coming out this soon.... But I hope it does

well i do remember reading somewhere that square already had the NA versions all translated and everything its just they were searching for server support and found sony and because sony wanted to release eq they postponed it all the way till now, so dont worry about it i think that date is pretty accurate and also check my new thread also in ffxi talk, its titled: muahahahaha this could be a good sign, i have some proof there that could change everyones thoughts of when its gonna come out...and make them believe in the march release
