The "Cat girl"

hmm so I am a guy but I kinda want to be this cat girl, its wierd to not be in control of a guy and a girl for once, I mean that was a system that most of the other FF's had, the female was the healer and the male was the fighter. anyways I'm wondering what the benifits of this cat girl are, and is it acceptable to play a girl character.(will people think I am a girl?)

the "Cat girl" get higher Agi, then any other race, Also i beleive alot of will consider you agirl..tho sense its a female only race...i dunno

and if you play a girl, just dont use the female body to beg for gear =P

Mithras have higher speed [the stat is AGI isn't it? Or DEX? Somebody set me straight ...] and lower CHR than most races ... for the most part, it's the Tarus that make good mages, and Elvaans to a certain degree [they excel at healing thanks to high INT ... or is it MND? :confused: ]

Yeah, it's probably acceptable to play as a Mithra, but people might jump to the conclusion that you're a girl. Not that that's a huge problem ... some people like to get into the whole RP aspect of it. Although if you're playing with the Japanese you might occasionally have somebody wanting you to have your character pose for some ... interesting ... screenshots. Not to say anything bad about them! But I've seen a few Mithra screenshots from some odd camera angles from them. :sweat:

Anybody remember the edited ones? They were a big hit back a few months ago.

People wont think you are a girl if you simply tell them your a guy. And if they are freaked out by the fact you are a guy playing as a girl then they are ignorant dorks who deserve to be slapped by their mommys.

heh thanks for your help guys, I think I'm just going to be a male character though, see how things go and maybe I'll change, I keep forgetting that I don't know a lick of japanese heh so having people hit on me is prolly not the best thing, I would have no idea what they were saying. so are hume characters pretty bad at magic? cause I would like to use magic but still use weapons pretty proficiantly, sounds like I might end up being an elf, if I ever get this damn game set up heh.

btw, it doesn't matter what sex you are... anyone who has a problem with a guy being a girl in a MMORPG is an immature loser who needs to learn what the ROLE PLAYING part of RPG means...

MND is magic defense. INT decides how much damage you attack for, and how well you cure someone. The more MND, the less magic hurts you.

Ah, gratia vobis, Chipmunk and Kei. Now that I think about it, I believe that what happened was that MND originally related to healing magic as well as magic def., but it was changed in a patch. So Elvaans then just take abuse well from magic monsters, but don't have extraordinary White magic skills. Right? ... >_> ... <_< ... right? :sweat:

i'm choosing to play as a female taru just cuz the one i want is so damned cute
