Well duh, for brenner purposes. But it's something I'd like to try out for myself not to benefit others. I've stopped caring about people in XI since I was called gimp two years ago. Since then I've been making people eat their words. But let's not get into my sob story. Moving on. This guy is claimed to be the best DRK that's ever graced XI in terms of PvE and PvP. He also has a strategy for getting out of a aggro hit box or something along those lines.

There is a blind spot inside the hitbox where you can stand to be out of the line of sight of a caster. The reason why it only works on players is that player hitboxes and monster hitboxes are different.
A good DRK or BLU doesn't need to use that exploit to beat a caster though if they know what they are doing. Burst damage is what kills in PvP in MMOs due to "player threat" being much more dynamic as what constitutes the highest priority target depends on the situation in PvP combat.
Basically a DRK can quite easily eviscerate you before you finish casting. DRK/RDM is what I'm assuming he will be due to the status effects you can throw out with it but /DNC will be very useful too since stuns have no diminishing returns on players. a DRK/DNC, BLM/DNC or DNC/DRK can basically stunlock you for the duration of a fight.
