There's some nice Cursna gear for WHMs actually but it's stupidly expensive on the AH.
Still need to farm Choris myself actually for the Augur's Gloves, though people tend to run for the hills when you say "Hey guys anyone want to help me farm Chloris?".

Rooks a smither of some sort (regular or gold, I don’t remember). He made me 2 rings that enhance cursna that I try to wear for Chloris.
He made a HQ one too…but he kept it (selfish jerk!)
I just wonder if the Monster Jackcoat +1/+2 or the Beast Jackcoat +0/+1 would remove doom. Seems like testing on it was done long ago but not many mobs had doom counters back then right? Cept for Tauris thingys? Not worth testing on Chloris though, maybe on mob in Aby-Vunk.
Farming all the NMs, maybe. But you can amber for them solo. But you know what…I always thought the same thing. I’ve duo’d Whm & War and destroyed it before. Retaliation while it Hundred fists. Ukko certainly helps since furrys light chain but would be easy with any G.Axe.
I’m hoping I can get those mitts to while finishing up my last 25 ish buds. Last 2 times they dropped I give them to others for helping me.

Fighting him as NIN is also not so bad. I'd take a NIN or MNK to tank him no matter what. NIN's response the to the Retaliation for MNK is just to pop Issikaigen and Yonin and watch parry do it's job. Capping parry is highly advisable to make this work... but thanks to the Yonin augment from the +2 pants, parry increases your TP each time it procs AND occasionally counters. Absolutely worth it.

Any DD + Whm will work. Just make sure you have holy waters. Cursna (even with enhance gear) isn’t 100% reliable. Have whm stay as far back as possible. use different terrain levels if possible.

I'm glad to find from your testimony that I can most likely do it with a small group.
I'm getting more confident with my Ls and with abbyssea in general.
I made a couple of friends yesterday but I'll post about them in the accomplishment thread.
