Data Mining from 10/29 Update

A friend posted this on my LS's site, new armor days, 3 different sets with 10 different variations per set. This looks like massive potential win.

Man some of the tanking helmets look atrocious. The breastplate is kinda meh. The rest looked cool, especially the mage hat.

@Armando: the ones with the spikes on the forehead, yeah. Although the floppy mage hats and yet another beret aren't so exciting either.

When I saw those weapons, the first thing that popped into my mind.

White Ixion.

And yes, those armors do look badass. I need that red crested helmet and spike covered breastplates.

Everything looks pretty good IMO, especially the mage sets, the beret doesnt look bad... and the new hat is pretty stylish :O

Oh my ...

Am I the only one sensing Odin & Alexander here? Going by the looks of those weapons & gear... note the Cross on some of the armors... and scythe is black & gold, similar to Odin...

I'm thinking those are avatar rewards. But I'm probably getting ahead of myself. The only other thing is, the white & blue patterns on most of those weapons very much resemble the Angels in Sea...

The first set from the wild dragon site, looks like the armor is the same armor just "levled". If you look at the other sets, and i'm not talking about the differnt colors, you can see that one set will look like they too sorta "level".

And what I mean by level is, you get the armor, and then you upgrade it, and it looks differnt, and then you upgrade it again and again, untill you get the advance form.

Just "looks" that way, You can really tell if you look at like this:

Sorry I don't know how to put images up. But if you can compare them from 1 thru 4 you can see an evolution of the armor.

Plus with all the differnt colors, perhaps they will let us "customize" it for our liking. /shrug that's just a thought.

People on BG thought of that concept too, but I don't think it makes any sense. Why would you go from Spikes, to heavy Plate to a crest on the heavy armor helmet? Why would the patterns on one upgrade look like the patterns on another upgrade, while the other two have completely different patterns? None of these armors look like they're "progressing", they're just out right changing. They each have a completely different style and feel, despite their similar themes. My guess is that you get a single base piece, one which we have yet to see, and can somehow change the way it looks, in both color and style.

Yes, you are. Seeing as none of these pieces have anything even remotely in common with Odin or Alexander. Odin has his gear, two Abjs sets, two specific armor pieces and two unique weapons, these pieces will have nothing to do with him. And Alexander has absolutely no cross symbols on him and is a dark grey/blue, which none of these pieces even come close to mirroring.

If I had to wager what Avatars we would be getting, smart money would be on Atomos and "Light Ixion" would be the wild card. Odin and Alex are finished with, we won't be seeing either of them outside of ToAU any time soon.

I think your either looking at the wrong armor or just not understanding me. I'm not saying you get one piece of armor like the one with spikes and upgrade it to the mage hat armor, Each set has a lvl 1 and at least a lvl 3 from the pics I saw. Not all are connected either. If you looked at the ones I had in my post and flip threw them one at a time in progression you should see what we're talking about.

Doesn't help the model is looking different ways a few times, but Phase 3 and 4 should be a good sample.

Kinda like the Salvage armor I guess, sorta...
