Is there an invite friends feature on FFXI? Where you can recruit your real life friends to the game, and if they stay subscribed for atleast 3 months you get like 1 month of free gameplay? Most (if not all) pay-to-play MMOs have that feature.

you only get special ingame items for this but there's no free subscriptions.
