So yeah, was away from FFXI for about 3 months until I started to get the "itch" again... damn youtube video.

Already caught up with what was going down with the security and bans and crap. So on to my question! Back then I've used my mother's credit card in order to pay from the very first day I joined, but now that I have my own (Well, is actually a debit card. Whateva'.) I'd prefer to use that instead.

Then of course, I read about bans by "Irregular Card Activity" (Something like that) when all some dude did was change his payment info.

There is no way in hell I wanna come back and get ban-hammered as soon as I set my foot in! ... So NOW on to my question, did this situation get settled or can I not use my own damn card now?

EDIT: Eh, nevermind. Card isn't eligible by that Verified Visa crap. Mom's card is, but as I don't live with her, would be too much of a hassle to pay for it that way.

Ah well... kinda makes me think too, wither I wanted to come back or not. Can finally kick this thing like a bad drug habit.

Time to find a new MMO, or just stop with them altogether. Hmm... wish I could run Aion.

hi if you have one of the console versions you don't have to do the verified by visa junk. I'm gonna have to do this for my debit card but my silly chase credit cards do work with verified by visa...(I hate charging up cards tho)
