recently I returned to FFXI cause I wanted to complete CoP/RoZ or to atleast kill the 4-2 boss.Anyway to this end I got RDM & BLM to 50 almost 51 WAR to 48/49 and WHM to 36/37.Also there's my 75 PLD.Two days ago I logged in ready to look for a CoP/RoZ shell to find I was banned, not the usual CC bo***ks.I phoned up SE asked what was going on.Something to do with CC charges.All well and good except all that was sorted 4/5 months ago last time i came back on the bank's side too.
So my account is still not active should I buy the new value pack and restart from 0 with ff14 otw or pray that SE sees the light?

you need to call back, and talk so a super visor or somthing, sounds like they just told you and then that was it. If it was all sorterd out, then there should be no reason why you are banned.

About starting over, thats a tough call, and really only one you can make by weighing the pros and cons of starting over with FFXIV on the way.

This isn't true, lol. There's a huge thread on BG about it, these bannings have been affecting a lot of people and there's no recourse against them. Just talking to a supervisor won't do any good. I got 'banned' once until I called and talked to them, then temp banned for three days a month later. A lot of people got that temp ban turned into a perma ban. My second account was banned right from the start of this whole credit card fiasco bs, some people have gotten temp banned three times with this dumb crap. I wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

With starting over ... have you leveled a low level job recently? It's a bit tougher to find parties, unfortunately. Not only that, but if you had an attachment to your old character, you might find it more of a chore to do it this time, or it might not feel quite the same. You could always pick up the free trial and knock around for 14 days, see how that goes.

Their answer: Illegal activity.

Some guesses:
Name on account and name on credit card do not match. (Don't think this is it. My mule account has everything matching.)

Changing credit cards frequently means you must be RMT or frauding people. (This doesn't explain why Aks was unbanned, because while I changed cards a lot due to being broke, cards were all under my name except for my mother's card that I borrowed once, and I think my dad's once too, but I told them that.)

Requesting a chargeback. (This typically doesn't result in perma, though sometimes it seems to because SE sucks at investigating. Like really sucks They double bill people, then won't refund it, and they wonder why people get chargebacks. -.-)

They felt like it, because they hate us and they don't care that they treat us like shit. (Sadly, I'm leaning toward this one. I mean, how can they ban one of my accounts but not the other? Same name, same finances, same situations, they were activated and deactivated together oftentimes, so what the hell?)

Anyway, OP, I'm not saying don't call them, but don't get your hopes up if you do.

I'm starting to worry about the card things too.each billing cycle my card failsand I have to manually pay the charge "using the same card that failed" then register my card once more I've been playing since may 2006 and never have had the funds just zapped off my card. Each time I've had to enter details and reactivate the account then change my details of card to what they were before. I'm sure it's not long before I'm banned thats for sure but if that's the case and I cant get my account back it will be sad I've made some good friends but I doubt I'd have much luck on the customer service side.

I dont use 3rd party tools or cheat, spam /sh. I have one character Galen. and a mule for items and a mule for equipment all on the one account. I'd be very annoyed if I somehow flagged their system as a possible rmt but I'm guessing I soon will due to how they are getting many people. I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts. Besides I still have city of heroes in a cupboard somewhere lol. or maybe I could go to WoW ? lol The community there says everything is gay so from the sounds of it I'd fit in and love it , I may even find a man lol.

sounds to me like you need to get a different card.

thanks lads always happy with the advice on this forum.Yea lvling low lvl jobs is a pain in the neck used those books at the OP's in qufim ect to lvl RDM.Still deciding on what to do that 14 day trial sounds good though
