Corrupted maps

Well it just so happened that I have this little issue...

When I`m in la theine plateau, and I decide to open the map, I can see huge black lines (kind of corrupted lines) over the map and in places like east ronfaure, if I decide to open the map, it crashes my POL.

I tried running a file check but it didnt find anything wrong :S

I will post a screenshot of my map view later

anyone knows what could be wrong?

Did you just install? Installing onto Vista can often corrupt a few files here and there.

Replace the file or reinstall the whole game. It's most likely a corrupted file.

Nope it just randomly happened (I have XP sp3)

I hope I can replace it cuz I really DONT want to sit through the install/update

You can do a file check from POL Viewer. It will examine all of the files on your PC, which means it will take awhile. But it will replace any corrupted files that it finds. I had a similar problem and doing a file check fixed it for me.

At least give it a try before you reinstall.

She already ran a file check and it didn't find anything.
