stardust-----hows a day in vana'diel for all of you players out there? For me, i have not yet played this game. I am in the midst of joining. Just want to hear whats its been like for the player from all over. From the starts to the pros. Leave a comment on hows its been for you so far.

You can explore, you can do missions, you can craft, you can do quests, you can grind out some levels, you can camp NM's (Notorious Monsters), you can raise a chocobo, you can do quests, you can explore, etc etc etc. There is a lot you can do in a day in Vana'diel but it all depends on how much time you have to play.

Zone into Port Windy as BLU26/NIN13, OP Warp to Buburimu Peninsula, grab FoV Refresh and Page 5....

Time to Solo.Running, running, running, oh look someone is being chased by a Zombie. Time to engage, cast wild oats, zombie comes to me cast bludgeon, screwdriver, bludgeon, zombie goes down.

Running, running, running, ooh look a group full of gobbys time to destroy, Sheep Song, bludgeon, screwdriver, bludgeon, group of gobbys is no more.

running running running, gobby cast bio on me, (are you serious?? haven't they learned by now) bludgeon, dead.

finally get to beach after earning 600 exp from killing mobs on the way, bogy is up cast metallic body, utsu ichi, cocoon, pull bogy, 45 secs later bogy goes down.

HEAL!!!full hp and mp, pull pugil, pugil goes down, pull 3 more pugils, YAY page 5 of FoV complete and lvl BLU27/NIN13,

time to run back.gain 1.2k exp running back (I just felt like plowing through mobs) grab another page 5, YAY complete 2k from BLU28/NIN14.

In other words, I finally ding BLU28/NIN14. OP Warp back to Port Windy go to mog house, equip LS.

Zone in tunnel??(Forgot name), run to spawn point, NIN/DNC says I need tp let's kill soldier, in other words soldier kills us, PLD home points and come back raise everyone but me (I know how to stay alive with my DRG .)

Pulls 3 crabs, NIN/DNC has TP spawn Baronial Bat, bat goes down fairly quickly.Bune is up but is taken from us by a blm and rdm who kills it ; ;.

Switch back to BLU28/NIN14, op warp back to buburimu and continue soloing.That was yesterday for me, hope that helps

If your referring to how it was written I apologized for that, I was at work, and the computer here is really gay.

I don't know if the *someone who beat it already* was directed at me, but I'm nowhere near close to beating this game, (is that even possible).

Some days are different, some are boring with nothing going on but leveling, others are productive with me doing quest, missions, or hunting random Notorious Monsters, who aggroed and killed me when I first started playing.

Well lets see, "beating" this game would probably consist of something crazy like this:

Having every job leveled to 75 with full merits.
Owning every piece of armor in the game including AF+1 and Relic.
Owning every weapon in the whole game. (Probably would need mules to do this.)
Owning Relic and Mythic weapons for every job.
Participated in every BCNM, HNM, SCNM(is that right?), or any other NM there is
Having Defeated Every NM in the whole game at least once.
Having Defeated Every Mob in the whole game at least once.
Owning all expansion packs with access to Sea, Sky, and anywhere else I've never seen or heard of.
Owning every Tetra Master card. (LOL)
Have all magic spells possible to have including Blue Magic.
Having all skills capped to the maximum.
Having at least or more than 25,000,000G
Having all crafts at 100. (Only possible with crafting mules)
Having all outpost teleports with at least 1 nation and rank 10 in all nations.
Having been to every area at least once.
All Stories completed: FF,TOAU,COP,ROTZ, WOTG, and ACP

As you can see I haven't thought about this at all.

Anybody that can do at least 1/2 of those on that list is pretty awesome.

There is a credits roll thing in the files (probably everyone with Altana has watched it) but Ihave no idea how to watch it in game.

Yep the game does beat you, it's beating me over and over. When I was in Spain, I pretty much had a lot of free time between work and nothing else, because if there was nothing to do, then we could go back to our hotel rooms, and WHAT did I do....play FFXI of course.

I manage to get quite a bit of things does over in Spain just because I had time to do it like, Dynamis, Missions, and all sorts of stuff.

Now I'm back in the US, actually doing work, and I would be surprise if I can play for more than 8 hours in a row, who knows maybe when I finish blu to 37 (currently 28) I will be able to full time my main job and get more things accomplished.
