Your ACP choices thread!

After you complete the ACP Missions are you able to wait until a later time to choose your reward?

At this point there aren't any choices for my current 75 jobs that I don't already have great bodies for, so it would be trading one great stat/buff for another.

I hope you don't mind me asking this question here, but it might be helpful to others who come here researching for their choices too.

Edit: I should really read about the mission before posting lame questions. I just read the quest for the mission and even though it's does not specify if you can complete APC without getting the reward, you can wait until a later time. Also, if you wish to acquire a different item you can toss the current one, and redo the Ode of Life Bestowing fight.

Well, I have PLD, WAR, SAM, NIN, and BLU and honestly, the only piece I can really benefit from is the Nuevo Coselete.

Here's why:

For WAR and SAM I can easily get an Askar body since I've already completed Nyzul. Besides, both of those jobs hit hard enough as it is LOL.

For NIN, its better off with my hauby, or af body (+1 now that I have sea) so no use for the Wardecors there.

For BLU, I already have my relic body so really, tping in anything BUT my relic body would kinda be a waste cuz I would lose out on the Refresh effect it gives.

PLD is really the only job that can take full advantage of those stats with the emn bonus (not that I really need it) and maybe the Fast Cast effect as well. I have full emnity merits already so I'm still undecided on that one, but this piece can easily replace my relic body as my main tanking piece.

Well less TP moves from a mob is always a nice thing, and if I did my math right, +4 store TP on a redingote with rajas, brutal and c.chain would shave one hit off a buildup to evisceration. But one hit .. that's like a second.

Yeah, I think if I want a better melee piece for my rdm I'll save up a few mil for an antares harness. The enmity/fast cast coselete really has no equivalent. Guess I'll be running around with a silly second shield on my shield arm.

I'm a bit disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a piece I'd want to use on more than one job, but eh, it's free decent gear.

See, that was my original plan in getting the Mirke Wardecors, but after some analysis, I realized both my BLU and NIN are already better off with their current gear. As much as it hurts me to say it, the Nuevo Coselete has made my relic body almost obsolete /cry

Besides, there are times when I'm needed to tank in Nyzul as WAR so the Fast Cast and emn+ will help with that as well.

Maybe they thought they were taking enmity+5 twice, and just didn't look too carefully at the second one?

In any case, I bet that's one person who will be redoing that fight as soon as the option to do so becomes available (if it isn't already).

Yeah, it'd be messed up if you could do it again but the augments carry over.

I highly, highly doubt it. Otherwise we'd have seen someone with Acc+20 or Enmity+10 by now.

I'm still debating on what I want on my Mire. I have Sam 75, but have Askar and Osode for TP/WS respectively. Blu 75 I have Relic body/AF Body. Rng 75 I have Osode. Bst 75 I have Osode. Mnk 75 I have Osode.

So far I've been looking @ Mire with Acc+10 and DA. More so looking at it for Monk and future jobs that can wear it. It would be a good TP piece for both Blu and Bst as well. As I use Rng mostly for large events, which I've done little of lately, I feel that it would be wasted for me to go with +10 R. Att and Snapshot+5%. I also feel that DA will be better overall than DW as DA will always be active on all jobs that can wear it, where as DW will require me to either be Nin main or to be /Nin.

Any suggestions would be helpful in my delima.
