Here's the deal, I've been gone from the game for a while and have missed a lot of new gear, but have no access nor time to do end-game stuff.

So my question is:

Which are the main/best and more usable pieces gear I can Buy/Quest/solo NM etc. in your opinion?

The jobs I'm looking at right now are RDM, PLD, BRD, DRK and BST. Of course I'm not asking for full sets and stuff as that would take way too much time, but rather the pieces that you guys think are attainable must-haves.

I want to start making a schedule to update my gear and grind enough gil to buy the expensive stuff.

(At some point before quitting I was thinking on simply buying Abjurations and stuff but apparently only RMTs sell those and I have no time to join a sky LS so I'm kinda doomed for stuff like that.)

Not only RMTs sell abjurations. We sell them, when we claim. >.>

Um, let's see, gear. Nothing really new for RDM off the top of my head, that isn't R/E. I see a lot of RDMs using Witch Sash, but I don't think it's all that great for RDM, you'd be better off with a Penitent's rope.

PLD ... Don't know. What's your price range? Avalon breastplate is actually pretty good but it's kinda expensive last I checked.

BRD can be naked. True story.

DRK hasn't changed too much either, in terms of buyables. Maybe pick up a pair of Vicious Mufflers, which have MAB and increase potency of absorb-type spells.

To be honest I'm not really sure about buyable gear, most of the best stuff is R/E abjuration/Dynamis drops for a lot of jobs. I guess it also depends how long you've been gone.

Anyway, if you are interested in buying abjurations, I know our LS sells them, and so do other linkshells on other servers. Might want to just find some people in the local HNMLSes and ask if they're selling what you want. Some sky linkshells also have been selling stuff lately. I don't see RMT camping shit anymore. Now they just haXor people who actually work for their gil. Scumbags.

How much do they usually sell for? I have a couple of pieces of gear in mind (like Crimson legs)

I don't know about other linkshells, but we don't actually farm sky so we require you to provide us with two Kirin popsets (about 500-700k each, usually) and you get the abjuration, we get the rest. For other abjurations, depending on the rarity and where it comes from, anywhere from 1m-40m. (40 million is for E body, btw, I'd say king abjurations average about 5-10m)

However, this is just us. And sky abjurations are probably much less expensive, like 500k-2m at the most.
