Sorry about the topic, i clicked enter too quick as i was entering it.

Anyway, i need help!,
I lost most of my dynamis key item.
Even when i did Dynamis before and have Ice access to shadowlord.

I don't know why i lost them. I suspect i lost few our key item too. What should i do ?

I don't think what your describing could actually happen without being in conjunction with some other massive terrible losses; if your character's data was somehow corrupted, there would be numerous other errors, not just loss of your Shrouded Sand.

I take it that you are referring to the loss of one or more of the following key items:

vial of Shrouded Sand
Hydra Corps Eyeglass
Hydra Corps Lantern
Hydra Corps Command Scepter
Hydra Corps Tactical Map

All of these items should be under Permanent Key Items.

I would say there is a 99.9% chance that what you are saying is not true.

Either (a) the character you are talking about never had the items, or (b) something other than missing these items is wrong.

If you are assuming that because you cannot enter a given Dynamis zone that you are missing the key items, that is not necessarily true. Ensure that your character meets the minimum level requirement of 65.

If you are absolutely sure that you lost the key items (which I practically guarantee is not the case) then this is the wrong place for your question. You should be talking to a GM.

Actually, yes it can happen. It happened to me. I'm sorry to say Wrongfelfong that you will have to redo all of your Dynamis's again. I had to teleport back out to Xarc, get the cutscene, and get all of the key items again.

And yes, I talked to a GM and emailed tech support and they did absolutely nothing.

The only other requirement is completion of mission 5-2. Is there a chance that you lose them if you change nations?

i guess i am more lucky, because i have 2 key left instead of losing all. I mean it doesn't make sense when you have items from Ice when you don't have key to enter right?

As for the nation change, i have another account and i changed nation, the other account still have the key.

I suspect this has something to do with Corsair AF being added. (my only 75 job) Because when i did shadowloard with corsair no corsair AF dropped yet.

I've never changed nations. I did Dynamis 4 days earlier with my ls and completed Jueno. Then we were doing Sandy next and I logged in, got a glass, and tried to trade it to the markings and it didnt work. I was on a level 75 rdm and since I'd done dynamis before....

So I called the GM and of course that was no help at all. "File a report." (Which I did do.) So then I called SE and they were 100% clueless. So I waited a little over a week to see if my report got an answer and I never heard a word about it from them. (This is one of my characters, I have a few so I just used another for events.) So in the end, I just decided to walk myself through the steps of someone new to Dynamis and teleported to Xarc where I got my cs and then the next time we did Dynamis I was able to get in but all my key items were gone so I had to redo all the zones, and I had Xarc clearance too. ><

I've also had the key item for Limbus disappear too. And yes, I have a screenshot where the NPC said I had been given the soap. So this crap does happen but it is rare...........and I'm like Eeyore, it just always seems to happen to me. LOL (Ask my son about the computer issues I run into.....yes the impossible can happen!)

The soap thing is a known issue--I've had it happen to me once and to other ppl in my LS twice. GM will always refund your money (not the soap), but they won't teleport you into Limbus to join your friends.

You two are the first two people I've ever heard of that had an issue with Dynamis items, though.

My son's lost his floors for Nyzul also. (And no this wasn't when they patched it.) It happens, there are game glitches. Unfortunately they seem to find me more often than not.

If you have a couple of your Dynamis key items still then you can probably still enter Dynamis so you don't need the cutscene.

Once when I exited a dynamis zone, I opened my inventory, and half of my inventory had disappeared. That's right. DISAPPEARED

I zoned hoping that would fix it, and it did. My guess is something just didn't load right.

My point is, sometimes FFXI just glitches, just like any computer game. Call a GM and see if they can do anything.

Every now and then (about 1 out of every 10 or so times I try and go to him) the guy in Whitegate who gives out Assault Tags is just not there. I usually have to zone and head back to him, which is a pain when the party is waiting on you.

If you read the entire thread, you'd see that the GM can't help you. This isn't a temporary glitch, its a permanent one.
