I suggested small, inexpensive figurines. Not everyone can afford or wants to buy big HQ statues of every game they like. I don't even like the Shadow Lord that much - should've gone with the Ark Angels, Bahamut, Promathia, or something like that.

I would like to be able to buy FFXI character figurines/action figures for $10-25 each depending on size. Not, you know, $200+ for the Shadow Lord which isn't even that popular a character, visually impressive as his statuette may be.

I considered 'dolls' of character models that we could then purchase clothes/armor/props/etc. for. While this would be cool, it would also be infeasible. Four races (Mithra/Galka being counted as two sides on a mismatched gender coin) with sixteen face/hair types each. That's 64 separate models that would need to be made. And then you add any sort of reasonable amount of armor, and we start to look at SE competing with barbie.

That's why I suggested Figure Prints. Custom, small scale models of your specific character. And if done for FFXI they'd look a hell of a lot better then the WoW ones.
