I like the Dnc relic except for the sleeves.

Phoenix would be awesome as a summon, but it's one of those summons were I'd be so disappointed that they didn't put it in that I dare not to dream that they might.

I like that these new caskets are random drop (10%) rather than just random pop.

Was that confirmed? I hadn't heard that. Soloing and leveling Bst is looking a wee bit more attractive right about now.

Something I read Gentoo say in the Live blog, about a 1/10 chance of a casket dropping when they were going on about the caskets.

Well, things have changed considerably with our other two famed refreshers aside from RDM, so that changes the backline situation somewhat.

First off, we have Pianmissimo. Now some situations we're going to have to consider some jobs holding back from the frontline since BRD's can't pull and perpetually Pianissimo people, but if its just like the WHM and the PLD up there, that's managable.

Then there's DNC's Aspir Samba which, where applicable, is a workable solution for MP recovery. All this on top of Sanction/Sigil refresh per situation. COR can sub this more viably than RDM or BRD in PTs at present and I sometimes do use it when there's a PLD, BLU or DRK in PT and the mob is aspirable.

So these things make WHM and RDM melee more favorable in some contexts. Another update would just further the potential for a new trend

Meritpo? Perhaps not, but I can see it viable and worthwhile in other situations. Merits are always going to be ruled by what's most effective and if you want to merit differently from the crowd, its best you form your own group anyway.

Heheh, I'm still expecting SE to go with the "New arrows for RDM! \(^-^)/" approach and/or forgetting about it halfway through without letting anyone know they've dropped it.

They said at last year's show that such an update would not be intended for full-time use. Its going to be on RDMs and WHMs to realize where it is and is not appropriate.

All other mage jobs besides White Mage have some way to gain mp, either through job trait or spell. Are there any plans to introduce a form of White Mage MP recovery? IGN
Gondai: The new White Mage weaponskill from the Nyzul Isle Mythic Weapons gives White Mage a unique way of regaining MP. We are considering tweaks to have White Mages and Red Mages attack more.

How many parties actually allow a WHM to melee? 99.9% of parties act like WHMs don't even exist until they need a 2HP/Tick poison cured.
