My experience after 2 years and starting over

I have a friend who used to be a 75 Whm before he quit the game 2 years ago, came back and lvl Drg to 75. One hilariously f'd up Gration fight later, he's wishing he lvled Whm instead

But then again, that's the beauty of this game, you can be any job and every job whenever the desire gets you. Though Smn and War are two completely different styles and will require two completely different set ups and paths, you could still do both effectively. And it would leave you being a very versitile player.

Darkhound-

What's your server and tag? If you're darkhaund from Kujata, I spent several very productive hours with you at the Dunes- and I'd be happy to party with you on a regular basis. I'm going through all the stuff for the first time- but I want to do it all, ZM, CoP, everything. Our LS needs members too, if you need one. We're pretty casual, and like to do CoP missions when possible.

My memory is alittle fuzzy since I stopped playing ages ago, however I am re-installing the game again myself and starting over.
All I can think of right now is getting the basics out of the way like 17 levels of BLM so I can swap to /BLM to warp, etc. subjobs like /whm /nin /thf so much to do all over again!

I say if you want to play SMN, go for it! It seems like folks are willing to add just about anyone to a party these days- just dont get stuck in a poorly balanced one b/c you're desperate for XP. I saw you leveling BLM in S. Gustaberg not long ago- i think that's a good start. At least get BLM for Warp, and like was mentioned above, the various other very handy jobs to have, like WHM, NIN, THF, etc.

Figure out how you're going to fund yourself. You can't bank quite as much by crafting anymore, at least not on Kujata- You really need to find a niche for yourself if you're going to craft- or just farm for goodies to drop on the AH or NPCs.

I'm not sure, everyone I knew before on my original server has probably quit, and I have 1 friend on valefor - so i'm not sure.
I used to be a huge crafting junkie with 2 accounts, doing the daily crafting quests and so on. I'd like a server with a healthy crafting market and maybe do dynamis again one day.

so i played a long time ago...then basketball got in the way lol. Now im hurt and cant play at the college im at so im coming back. i would love to return with some people already in game that are around the same level and i can chill with. If anyone interested let me know in here. thanks

Kujata... it will be good beucae me and 4 more freinds started all over again

we are levels 5-18 so you can pefectly fit in....
All of us had 75 jobs so things will be easier.. ill wait for you tonight or what?
