I myself have not had any mail or interaction with RMT short on one brief moment when I killed a Goblin Bounty Hunter on the beaches of the dunes waiting for a NM pop. A RMT fishing bot ran by gave me a /tell that said "9". Nothing else. I quit killing the gobs there and waited to see if he would agro, which he never did. Never another tell or anything. Must have been cryptic or something.

Probably a fault in the bot they were using.

Or it wasn't a bot. Turns out some of the Chinese will work a long time for very small amounts of money.

I got one worse than the RMT mail and I'm kinda shocked that I didn't see a post about this. Yesterday on Leviathan a RMT that was possibly a bot was sending /tells to everybody and I assume it was through the "/sea all" list, me and most of my LS got tells about it. The tell stated something about "Teleport Hack url://teleporthack.<somerandomplace>.org" or something to that effect. Everybody called for a GM about the tell. I was going to call a GM but most of the people in my shell had already done it. My friend said that he was #43 on the GM Call List. About 10 minutes later he received a message from the helpdesk saying "Your GM call cannot be answered at this time because there are too many people with the same request." I know everybody in this forum isn't stupid, but just to reinterate if ever get this tell, DON'T GOTO THE LINK, it is probably some sort of malware keylogger or whatnot that can be used to steal your character.

wget and less can be good if you're looking to analyze the site with a hands-off sort of approach.

I feel you're pain on this. It's almost too much of a hassle to go through the official process on POL to report these and I often give up half way through. There should be a much more streamlined way to forward these messages to the STF.

I got some PMs on this forum from RMT groups but they tend to get deleted the second they enter my inbox.

I've not had anything ingame like this but I have seen a few fishbots running around over the weekend. They'll probably vanish towards the end of the month when the Special Task Force has to meet it's ban quota though.

You don't need to be on someone's friendlist to send them a message through POL.
