The exact same thing tends to happen if I try to seek alongside an LS member or someone off my friends list when they are of the same level. Extra "bloody hell why won't they read the search comments" points if they're on a guaranteed invite job like RDM or BRD and only want a RDM or BRD and I'm stuck trying to get into a party on WHM or SMN. In those cases I tend to just give up and go help people get their AF stuff and testimonies or help BLU friends get their spells done instead. I've done the RDM and PLD AF3 quests so many times I have custom macro palettes for my WHM purely for those quests.
