I quit the game about a year ago, trying to come back now i realized my account had been stollen by my ex, who desided it would be a good idea to delete my character Kieko on the garuda server. Along with my mules... The police got involved and the account was returned to me, but now I'm trying to recover my characters.. >.< I really shouldnt have told them to recover the mules because now it's taking awhile! I started the character recovery on Sept 2 and still no Kieko back... Talking to SE they said I could get her back at anytime. That it could be at all hours of the night or w/e.

Does anyone know how this process actually works? I was told they do it through SE japan but I'm also thinking it might be an automated process since it can come at all hours...

Anyone actually get their character back? How long did it take you? What time did you get the email? Thanks~ <3

People have been waiting months for account recovery, or character recovery? Because I thought that was only with account recovery... I'm just getting my characters recovered.

So I talked to POL again today and they couldnt tell me the status of my recovery, haha... Oi... Got to love that. But none the less I had them put in a request for just my main character and none of my mules. They denied any delays in the process and said if i dont hear anything in 7 days to contact them again. Wish me luck <3

Are they still making people fill out that notarized form to send back to them as verification?

My character recovery took several weeks, so yes it can take a while. ^^

I already have my account i'm just recovering my character. So no notarized forum. Sorry to hear that Lanih, how many attempts did you do? Was it just the recovery from deletion and not the data recovery.

Okay, so it's been another 7 days.. Well 8 today. I called SE yesturday and they said that it doesn't look like they put my character request through the first time, but this time they "think" they did.. >.<; Oi, but yeah. They said I should be getting the email anytime now, and if i don't get it in accouple days call them back to put it through again.. What is it with SE and not sending this freaking email? It's annoying...

EPIC SE FAIL! For some reason as of late when it comes to those over-the-phone people that claim they are gonna do something, they never do. If the lines aren't really busy as in taking over 20 mins to get one of those idiots on the phone, I'd call everyday until you know for sure somebody did it. After that call every other day to try to get a update on the situation. On a slightly different subject, a friend of mine had his account stolen a few months ago, and he had 2 different people tell him his account was sold on ebay and something along the lines that it was deleted and they couldn't restore it. Called a third time a few days later and he was told it wasn't deleted and he could get it back that Wednesday. I'm gonna need them to get their act together, but gl with that one.

Thanks for the responce! I had been riding SE everyday after my account was stolen until I got it back, but now they insist the character restore is done through SE Japan and they can't give me any status updates on the progress. They say I really can't do anything until I get an email saying how it went the worst part being they can't even tell me if the restore fails... If I call and tell them to put it through again it restarts the process! Man this is such BS...

I talked to SE today they said my character request IS being processed! This one hasn't been lost Now I just need to wait it out! Let you guys know!

Excellent! Now did you learn that you should never have shared your password in the first place?

No I learned that i should have put in the time to install the PoL viewer and change it after i brokeup with him, haha.
