got hit by 3 viruses including a keylogger vandiel atlas site. thats what avg caught when logging on as well as site asking to install active x components . be careful if your not virus protected and up to date.

Honestly, is it ever going to be safe to use anything aside from the Wiki ever again?

Every two weeks there's some keylogger hitting one of the atluses, or FFXIAH. I actually stopped using all of them back during the last big scare, but honestly, it's getting old. Those are valuable resources.

Please stop using Internet Explorer though. 90% of the attack vectors of that exploit was IE Only exploits. (hell the flash one could be IE only too)

Internet explorer should only be used at the very minimum of business related sites (company sites) that require it to render correctly (in other words, sites who should fire their web designers cause they dont know what they are doing).

Don't forget to block Iframes in NoScript's options (its not like that when installed) and add NoFlash as well since there is no current block for the new Flash exploit.

Iframes themselves are not a threat, the content they load up is the threat, and with javascript and flash blocked, it should be sufficient protection.

Blocking Iframes is kinda silleh.

'cept all the original hackings came from Iframe exploits :x, better safe than sorry

Iframes allow for external content to be loaded on any page (like flash), that's why the hackers use them for these exploits. You should block the contents of the iframes, not the iframes themselves.

If you're blocking scripts AND iframes, you're just limiting your browsing experience, though nowadays Iframes aren't used as much anyway, still... it's not the main problem.

Flash is a bit different, you have to block the whole thing to keep safe...
