Hehe, well I subscribed in the 26th of December when I started playing, if it makes you feel any better. I believe at some point they'll let you off the hook for a month, since paying $15 for 20 days is a tiny bit of a ripoff.

This is incorrect. After purchasing your first content ID, your first month's free trial will kick in. The free trial will last exactly 30 days from the purchase date of the content ID. After that, you will be charged for the remaining days left in the month following the end of your free trial.

Example:

You subscribe today and play for free until the 11th of September, at which point you begin your payment cycle. At the end of September, SE charges you for the 20 days that were left in September after the free trial expired.

No, it doesn't get pro-rated if it's an old account. You start it up again, you pay for the full month even if you're only signed up for a day. The only time there's ever any pro-rating is for the one solitary partial month at the end of a new 30-day free trial.

Yes Ellipses is correct. I recently had this problem myself with an additional account. I started it up on the 20th of the month and the following month I was billed for 2 full months. I called SE and was told that this was the correct amount and they do not pro-rate established accounts.
