Well ii come home and try to log and i see that i have message LM-17. I called SE they said i was PERM baned. I ask why and how. They say Article 4.4. The guy was very rude and started Snikering at me.

I ask him how can i be under a investigation if A. i started over 6 days ago. He said you broke the rules. I told him i want to talk to someone else higher then this Prick JOE WORKER ID 05884. He said the higher ups banned you. I am so upset i have been playing this game for years i never bought gil or did any Power lving.

There has to be something i can do. I mean can they do this without evening soilid Proof.

I hate to play devil's advocate, but SE doesn't ban people for no reason at all. You apparently did something that flagged as inappropriate/against the ToS. Not really much else to say. =/

4.4 of the PlayOnline Member Agreement is pretty broad and doesn't just restrict itself to RMT activities. Among other things, it includes providing false information to SE, harassment of other players, and accessing to any PlayOnline user account, regardless of whether such actions are mischaracterized.

Square-Enix reserves the right to terminate your account any time, with or without reason, per the EULA.

There are undoubtedly cases where they've banned people without good reason, but frankly, there's nothing anyone here can do about it except offer a little sympathy.

Your only real recourse is to pursue legal action, and given the terms of the EULA, I don't think such tactics will work.

NO but now i can have a life and go back to school. FFXI took over my life i was playing 40+ hours a week.

I lost friends, and almost lost a 4 year old realtionship with my partner.

It was fun but its time that i moved on and i thank SE for it to be honest.
