SE kinda stated eariler that it won't be FFXI #2 but we really don't have many details after that. It just sorta got announced and then no one has heard a darn thing after that...

Yes it was called Fantasy Earth...then it got bought by another company... Then they announced they are wroking on a new one for Xbox360 and PC last year but only a few really early screenshots exist so far... |

In about a year, we'll see Group III Merits, then Relic equipment for the newest jobs, then we can expect our lives to be further sucked dry by SE.

I was really hoping for something to... you know, BEAT FFXI when it came to SE's next MMO... Not saying I won't try Concerto Gate seeing as it'll be free, but-- sigh.

Any MMO SE makes will be judged against FFXI. And FFXi, depiste the problems, is one hell of a game. Despite the fact that problems arose that SE never intended on, I think they've handled it just fine. I'd like ONE server tho, with scalable towns, as in, Jeuno can really hold about 10,000 players, and the areas are so huge that it can actually take a couple of hours to traverse the world. HNM camping would be annoying though, as would things like Dynmais and Sky.

Takes a while to traverse the world when you don't have the aid of a chocobo, or airship, telepoints, warp, or OP's. They are just bonus' to help you get around quicker so you canhave your life force fully sucked out by the time they discontinue support. (I reckon im running on 1/4 of my life force, and if campaign dosent clean up at all soon i may be down to 1/8)
