I'm a former member of the Fenrir server, but it was a bit to empty for my liking. Im hoping to join one of the more popular servers. I like interacting with others. Odin is the most populated, but SE doesn't really want more people there. When are you logging in? What kind of numbers are, in your opinion, too few? As long as finding a party in the dunes is'nt an all day, pain-stakin process, I'll be just fine. I was thinking maybe they should merge the members from the 2 most unpopulated servers together. Then reset one of the 2. Making a new server would be a nice addition for the newcomers. In some games, bare servers where everyone would start equal are a great chance for a new player to have a fair start. In FFXI, they'd make an absolutely horrible experience for at least the first few months; and there are so few new players that it would be a waste. Plenty of players out there still have low level jobs that they want to get up higher for one reason or another. However, no one really wants to endure low level parties.
How often have you heard a friend of someone in your LS say the following:
"I can't wait to be out of the Dunes."
"I hate Qufim."
"Is there any way I can avoid Kazham?"
"Crap, I have to go back to the Citadel."
I get the feeling that most players few low level partying as one of the worst experiences to endure in this game, and that they would rather avoid it at all cost (choosing instead to get PL support to solo or small group their way to at least the mid 30s). Lyonheart
