| Junior Member |   PS3 Wireless/Bluetooth keyboard that works with FFXI?
From what I hear no bluetooth keyboard will work with ffxi, but does anyone know of a standard wireless keyboard that will work on a ps3?

I don't see any reason why any USB keyboard shouldn't work with FFXI.

you might have to opt for a USB wireless. FFXI is a last gen game and as such only supports things that would be compatable with the PS2...

FYI i was able to correct this buy using a bluetooth keyboard/mouse with USB dongle, that had been configured in windows prior to moving to the PS3. Also be sure to connect the dongle in usb port 1 on the PS3. |

yes you just need a system with a USB sender. I'm not sure which ones work, but you can't use the native bluetooth of the PS3...

I bought the Rocketfish Bluetooth Keyboard and Bluetooth optical mouse this past weekend. The PS3 reconizes both the keyboard and mouse in the Accessory Settings. The Rocketfish keyboard works extremely well with UT3. The only problem is you have to start the game twice to get it to work. You have to sync the keyboard then start the game and quit. Sync the mouse and start the game. I was played for 2 hours last night online and was holding my own. It comes with at USB dongle and works sorta well with FFXI. It has about a 1 second delay before the FFXI receives the letters typed when you havent been typing for about 30 seconds. If you type within 30 seconds, you will barely notice a difference in the delay between a usb keyboard and the rocketfish bluetooth keyboard. Anyone else know of a better bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the PS3? (I did a few google searches for wireless keyboard/mouse and all it turned up was the logictech keyboard/touch mouse)

I have a Logitech bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They both work flawlessly.
