So just before I got this /tell i placed a GM call because i froze at the end of a Besieged and didn't get the EXP reward and lost a body and waist piece. When it froze i just hit my Acc gear swap macro i went invis for a sec like it does but i never came back...thats when i realized it froze. Kicked my 360 and logged in on my PC...thats when i got this /tell by Maryland. Just another thing to add to my GM call...

They've been doing this in other MMOs for some time. I'm surprised it took this long to do it in FFXI.

It's not as bad as Tabula Rasa. TWo months after TR came out, it was impossible to chat in the general chat, so much pay for gold spam, it's funny because at the time Tabula Rasa didn't have anything to BUY!

Wow... I JUST got a tell from Paralon on ragnarok whille i was afk, said the same exact thing. I have no idea why, but I got a really weird feeling seeing that in ffxi, because ffxi is not some cheaply put together rpg like others that have thoughs kinds of things. Well maybe not cheaply made, just not as good as XI. Wonder how long this will last. |

email the pic showing the tell (it does contain a gill sellers website) and send it to the STF, they may be able to ban the person and also investigate the site.

You get that alot on WoW. Even get people spamming your mail box on WoW too, well used to anyway, Blizzard cracked down on these site pretty hard.

THose were the worst in WoW. They would spam you every 3 minutes and whats worse is they would invite you to party just to spam you with those kinds of messages. IT was so bad that Blizzards had a special contact section ingame just to report it. Only question is why waste a char and a subscription to nail themselves to the cross. They should really know better unless its them using up a stolen account.

WoW is 100x worse. You get whispers, you get spammage in major cities, you get mail... I've even heard of a few guild sites giving out free gold to newbies in order for them to get a few fans. @w@;; Give me a few /tells anytime over all that crap.
